We have implemented an online store with a dedicated product configurator for a manufacturer of electric desks
Introduction
ERGOOAK is a rapidly growing brand that specializes in the production of modern, ergonomic office furniture, with an emphasis on electric desks. The company relies on high quality workmanship, sturdy frames with up to 120kg load capacity and premium tops made of natural oak wood. ERGOOAK products are designed with user comfort in mind, allowing users to customize their workspace.
Challenge
The client needed an effective and efficient online store that would not only enable the sale of high-quality electric desks, but also support the development of the ERGOOAK brand in the competitive office furniture market. Key requirements were:
- High functionality and ease of use – The store was to be intuitive for both customers and the management team, allowing easy introduction of new products, order management and customer service without the need for advanced technical knowledge.
- Product personalization – An important element was the ability to offer customers full desk personalization, which was to be the store’s main competitive advantage.
Approach
We decided to use WordPress with the integration of the WooCommerce plugin as the main e-commerce platform. WordPress, thanks to its flexibility, allows for easy administration and development of the store, while WooCommerce provides all the necessary functions to manage online sales. As part of the project, we also implemented a dedicated plugin that plays a key role in the operation of the store.
During the design process, we made sure that the store is fully responsive, allowing you to shop comfortably on a variety of devices, from desktop computers to smartphones. We also optimized the site’s performance to ensure fast loading even with heavy traffic.
Desk configurator – dedicated plug-in
One of the most important elements of this project was the electric desk configurator, which we created from scratch as a dedicated plug-in for the WooCommerce platform. The configurator allows users to fully customize the desks they order – from choosing the height, to the color of the top, to the type of frame. The tool was designed for maximum intuitiveness and ease of use, allowing customers to freely and precisely customize the product to their individual needs.
3D visualizations
ERGOOAK offers custom-made desks, giving customers a wide range of configurations and personalization options. Instead of investing in producing every possible variant of the product for promotional purposes, Hypercon provided the client with realistic 3D visualizations. Our graphics team created digital models of the desks in various configurations, allowing the client to showcase the full range of products without having to physically manufacture them, significantly reducing costs and speeding up the process of bringing new variants to market.
Result
The result of our work is a modern, functional online store that meets all the client’s objectives. Thanks to a dedicated configurator, users can easily personalize their desks, which significantly increases their engagement and satisfaction with their purchases. The store has been optimized for performance, resulting in faster page loading and a better user experience.
