FAME MMA is a Polish organisation known for its celebrity and influencer fight events. Launched in 2018, the format grew from the idea of settling online disputes in the ring. It proved hugely popular: FAME MMA events attract tens of thousands of viewers, with each edition introducing new concepts and experiences.
The “Betclic Fight of the Evening” campaign was created to deepen fan engagement. Viewers could vote for the bout they considered the most exciting and spectacular, with a cash prize awarded to the winners of the audience poll.
Our task was to create the WalkaWieczoru.pl platform for Betclic’s Fight of the Evening campaign. We had no more than one week to design, build, secure and test a system that would enable users to vote for the best fight.
The key requirements were an intuitive user experience, capacity to handle hundreds of thousands of page views over three days and complete visual consistency with the Betclic brand. The scope covered the frontend, backend, cloud infrastructure, security and operational monitoring.
Building WalkaWieczoru.pl combined intense time pressure with significant responsibility. Despite the extremely short deadline, we wanted every aspect of the platform — from UX and visual design to operational stability — to feel thoroughly considered.
We designed a simple, intuitive interface with clear messages guiding users through every stage of the voting process. The visual layer followed Betclic’s brand identity closely, making the campaign feel official from the moment the page loaded.

WalkaWieczoru.pl was one of our most demanding rapid-delivery projects. There was no room for lengthy iterations, so precise planning was essential from day one. We ran focused workshops, prioritised the core features and moved straight into parallel frontend and backend development, reviewing progress continuously at every stage.
We built the platform from scratch using Laravel. This gave us a lightweight, stable application designed to remain reliable under heavy traffic while leaving a clear path for future development.

Alongside the public platform, we delivered a dedicated content management system that allowed Betclic to edit content, update information and monitor voting in real time. The interface was designed for straightforward use without technical expertise.
The interface was fully responsive and optimised for popular browsers and devices. We kept components lightweight, transitions smooth and server requests to a minimum so that the platform would remain fast even during traffic peaks.
We deployed the infrastructure on Microsoft Azure, using Docker containers and Kubernetes-based autoscaling to adjust computing resources to live demand. This made the platform resilient to sudden traffic spikes following promotional activity and live event broadcasts.
We also carried out performance and load testing, traffic simulations and real-time monitoring to verify that the platform could handle several hundred thousand page views within a short period. Anti-abuse measures reduced fraudulent votes, bot traffic and proxy-based manipulation, protecting the integrity of the campaign results.

The delivered platform met the project objectives: it was fast, stable and fully aligned with Betclic’s visual identity. Its intuitive, engaging and responsive interface made it easy to vote from any device.
Most importantly, the platform maintained excellent performance at peak load. Even with hundreds of thousands of page views over just a few days, it continued to run smoothly, without delays or downtime.
